Inhead keeps your headache diary on your own devices and in your own iCloud. It has no server of its own and no account with us.
The headaches, symptoms, treatments, notes and settings you enter are stored in the app’s database on your iPhone or iPad. If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud enabled for Inhead, that database is also kept in your own private iCloud storage, so the same diary appears on your other devices. That storage is yours: it sits in your Apple Account, it counts against your iCloud space, and it is governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy. We cannot read it. There is no Inhead server, no Inhead account, and no way for us or anyone else to reach your records. You can stop the syncing at any time by turning iCloud off for Inhead in the iOS Settings app, and the diary stays on the device.
Inhead contains no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising, and it does
not track you across other apps or websites. The two open-source components it
builds on — Apple’s swift-numerics and the SVGView drawing library — draw
and calculate; neither collects anything and neither talks to a network. Nothing
you record is used to build a profile of you or shared with any third party.
The only data that ever leaves the app by your hand is the doctor’s report you choose to export: it is handed to the iOS share sheet, and where it goes from there is your choice. Deleting the app removes it and its local database from that device; the copy in your iCloud is yours to manage, in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account.
